The Trivium - "The Three Roads"
The Trivium focuses on Grammar, Rhetoric and Logic.
"The Trivium teaches us that language evolves from the very nature of the human being. Because we are rational, we think; because we are social, we interact with other people; because we are corporeal, we use a physical medium. We invent symbols to express the range of practical, theoretical, and poetical experiences that make up our existence to delight and to educate those who follow us. Because we use language, we engage in a dialogue with the past and the future."--Marguerite McGlinn
**This has been a very difficult book to read. I think we should have Trivium Sessions and discuss one chapter each week or something, because I think it would be better to have somebody who knows a lot about grammar solving certain specific doubts (such as the difference between intention and imposition) with examples.
